Venus is a silly, happy, I can’t be close enough to you girl. She is the queen of our house and is aging like fine wine, adding play and drive to her beauty queen personna. She loves to snuggle at home and shines in the conformation ring – always ready to charm her fans and judges alike! If she isn’t in the show ring, she can be found with a squeaky toy in her mouth or chasing the plastic bunny when doing FastCat. She’s been known to chase a few sheep occasionally, and is an all around very special dog. Her sound and stable temperament combines with correct structure and envious curls to create a stunning example of a correct and lovely Mudi. Venus was awarded Select Bitch in 2022 and an Award of Merit in 2023 at the prestigious Westminster dog show. She is always up for anything that involves food, her people, or a squeaky toy. Her favorite antics involve chasing and catching flies; which sometimes make outdoor shows a comical challenge!

Venus was imported from Hungary as a 10 week old puppy when I saw her picture on line and fell in love with her. Her sale had fallen through and thankfully she was still available. I had to have her, and I was blessed to successfully welcome her to our family!

We hope that Venus will contribute much to furthering genetic diversity and type to the Mudi breed here in the US.
