Formally introducing our “AND THEY’RE OFF!” Litter! Born on 5/2/2025, this should be a litter to watch and dream about! These babies came out of the gate with ferocity! They are “spirited”!

Ruffian(pink collar) Merle female. 1st out of the gate, weighing 9.8oz.

Named for an American Racehorse that won 10 consecutive races. Always on the lead, she was named the American CH filly at ages 2 & 3. She was euthanized after an injury in a match race against Ky Derby winner Foolish Pleasure.

Genuine Risk(purple collar) Merle female, weighing 10.2 oz

Named for the the second filly to win the Ky Derby, and the 1980 Eclipse Award Champion 3-Year-Old Filly

Arrogate(blue collar) Merle male, weighing 10.5oz

Named for a grey that is the richest equine in history. With large purse wins he earned his place in the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame

Zenyatta(green collar)black female, weighing 10.6 oz

Called the Queen of Racing, she won 19 consecutive challenges. She was inducted into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in 2016

Winx(red collar) black female weighing 11oz

a retired Australian Champion that won 37 of 43 starts, her last 33 in succession. Inducted into the Australian Racing Hall of Fame in 2017 then became an active brood mare

We’re thrilled to announce our current litter, a special pairing between two of our own proven dogs!

Szia is a versatile, high-achieving sport dog with multiple titles across several venues, as well as a Conformation Champion. He brings drive, structure, and enthusiasm to everything he does.

The dam of this litter is our sweet, homebred girl, Katana. While she’s just one point shy of her Championship, she already boasts several impressive wins. More importantly, she’s a devoted and attentive mother who takes her role seriously and loves raising her puppies.

Both Szia and Katana have been successfully bred in the past—producing puppies who are already exceling in conformation rings and performance sports. We’re incredibly excited to see what this exceptional pairing produces together!

The puppies are 4 weeks old now, and are one of the sweetest groups of puppies we have had! Enjoy these updated photos!

“Szia” is equal parts intense drive and goofball antics. He displays intense handler focus and is a willing participant in any sport we throw at him! It’s no secret that his favorite game to play is Dock Diving, where he competes in all three events and has broken multiple records; he’s nicknamed the High Flying Mudi at our home dock. In the conformation ring, across multiple venues, Szia is known for his floating movement. Most recently he earned the Total Dog Award at UKC Premier Nationals 2024 with an invite to the Total Dog Invitational.

“Venus” is our queen of the house. She loves to snuggle at home and shines in the conformation ring – always ready to charm her fans and judges alike! Her sound and stable temperament combines with correct structure and envious curls to create a stunning example of a correct and lovely Mudi. Venus was awarded Select Bitch in 2022 and an Award of Merit in 2023 at the prestigious Westminster dog show. She is always up for anything that involves food, her people, or a squeaky toy. Her favorite antics involve chasing and catching flies; which sometimes make outdoor shows a comical challenge!

From this breeding we expect quality puppies with excellent temperament, medium drive/energy, and lovely breed type. This breeding brings new and exciting genetic diversity to the breed, bringing together lines that have not been crossed before. We are hopeful for a litter that will correctly highlight the breed’s versatility and be successful in the home, competitive in the show ring, and driven in sports.
