Pila, from Cruzyn Mudi Kennels in Oregon, is the ultimate example of what a Mudi should be—intelligent, versatile, and endlessly devoted. She earned her Certificate of Merit (CM) and holds titles in Hide N Seek, with ongoing training in scent work and agility. A true all-rounder, Pila is a retired Therapy Dog and now serves as a working Service Dog, offering not only support but a daily reminder of the breed’s depth and heart.

In 2019, Pila stole the show—literally—when she was cast as the star in the “Adopt Me Maybe” music video, produced to raise awareness for pet adoption. Watch it here. Her charm and charisma left a lasting impression, and she’s continued to shine through community programs, nursing home visits, and by being a reliable companion for junior handlers in need of a dog to show.

As our foundation bitch, Pila has been instrumental in shaping the Menagerie Mudis program. Her puppies are known for their exceptional temperament, structure, and stunning expressions. Most notably, she produced “Rev,” the 2024 Best of Opposite Sex winner at Westminster—a proud legacy we cherish.
